Hello,

I am using Excel to keep a running tally of a variety of instances, and they always go up by 1. I would like to know if it is possible to create a "Plus/Minus" area in Excel so I can simply click "Up" and the number increase. Below is a mock up of it.

Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, can someone please explain?

Thanks, appreciate all your help.

You could use a spin button from the Forms toolbar -- Developer > Insert, Form Controls.

Paste this code into the Sheet Level Module :

Code:
Option Explicit

Sub CommandButton1_Click()
  Range("D3").Value = Range("D3") + 1
End Sub

Sub CommandButton2_Click()
  Range("D4").Value = Range("D4") + 1
End Sub

Sub CommandButton3_Click()
  Range("D5").Value = Range("D5") + 1
End Sub

Sub CommandButton4_Click()
  Range("D6").Value = Range("D6") + 1
End Sub

Sub CommandButton5_Click()
  Range("D7").Value = Range("D7") + 1
End Sub

Sub CommandButton6_Click()
  Range("D8").Value = Range("D8") + 1
End Sub

Sub CommandButton10_Click()
  Range("D3").Value = Range("D3") - 1
End Sub

Sub CommandButton11_Click()
  Range("D4").Value = Range("D4") - 1
End Sub

Sub CommandButton12_Click()
  Range("D5").Value = Range("D5") - 1
End Sub

Sub CommandButton13_Click()
  Range("D6").Value = Range("D6") - 1
End Sub

Sub CommandButton14_Click()
  Range("D7").Value = Range("D7") - 1
End Sub

Sub CommandButton15_Click()
  Range("D8").Value = Range("D8") - 1
End Sub

You will need to paste a command button on the worksheet corresponding to each of these Butt******* macros. NOTE the button numbers ! Make certain they match to button you paste on the sheet.
