Just wondering what the VBA wording for "IsText" is? I know for Excel "ISNUMBER" is "IsNumeric" for VBA.

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
you can do

Sub test()
MsgBox Application.WorksheetFunction.IsText("text here")
End Sub

well what I am trying to do is swap the "IsNumeric" statement for the "IsText' command. The VBA works fine with IsNumeric but but not with IsText. The equation is:

If Cells(5, y).Value >= Date And Not IsNumeric(Cells(x, y).Value) Then
