Paste values from formula cell?

Is there a formula way of doing copy paste - values?

Not sure what you mean ?

if you have a cell, say "A1" that is a formula and you want to copy that value and paste into another cell "B1" as its value so it is no longer a formula then copy/pastespecial values is the way to go

if you want another cell "c1" to equal what "a1" contains then enter C1=A1

a quick way of paste special would be this key sequence

Copy your cells then select destination cells and

ALT+E then S then V then enter

Through visual basic yes, but a formula cannot be written to change its contents.

add this code to a module then go to your developer ribbon and select macros

select the CPS macro and click 'options'

put an x in the box so your macro runs with CTRL+X

Click ok, then cancel

highlight the cells you want to copy/pastespecial - press CTRL+X

Job done!
