Help!!Increasing the number of rows displayed in Data validation list

Hi guys,
I created a data validation list drop down. When I select the drop down pane , I can view only first 8 rows of the list. Is there any way that I can increase the rows that are displayed to 20 or whatever i need to select.Please help me.

I'm a little confused - when you view the list from the validation drop down you should be getting a scroll bar if you have more than 8. Is the problem that you are not getting a scroll bar or that you want to change the default list display to include all 20 list items?

Hi thanks for the reply. I just want to change the default display to 20 list items. Is that possible.

The 8 visible rows is a limitation of data validation. You can use a combo box to achieve the results you want. Check here for the "how to": http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal10.html
