No, There is no such "built-in" posibility in Pie Chart Options.

Hi Target

Create a copy of your Pie chart

Change it's type to 'whatever'

Set it so it has a Data Table

Place it over the top of your Pie Chart, with just the Data Table extending below the Pie Chart.

Right click on the copied chart and send to back.

Select both charts, right click and Group.

I suppose you can also use the camera option, which you can resize the data table into your chart quite nicely..... it remains realtime, so any adjustments update the image.

view
toolbars
customise
commands
tools
camera icon (3rd from bottom)- drag to your tooolbar

highlight data table
say cheese
click on camera
click and drag image to size on your pie chart

to format this image, right click it and then choose "format picture" - you can play around with the lines, opaqueness etc etc

Since I have never really liked XL's handling of the data table, I've used an alternative. Just below the chart, create a copy of the data plotted on the chart (one way would be to copy the original data set, click the cell where you want the table to appear, Edit | Paste Special... | Link. Now, format the pasted data as desired -- with far greater flexibility than a Data Table can provide -- and it will look like the chart has a data table!

Thanks to all
I tried the camera method and it works just the way I needs .
Any other special use for the camera icon?

How long's a piece of string ?

try a search on my name with "camera" in the search field... you'll get most of my thoughts on it

I find it handiest for presenting different-shaped summaries all in one go where normally trying to align then via column widths and merging would drive you nuts...

(I'm not sure it has any advantages over Tusharm's link paste though, and Daves "group" suggestion is new to me too, I like it...... you could have intertwining images (like in set-theory) n stuff
