Formula building

I need to compile a formula that adds a parameter so that if column G/470 has the word "PLUG" it will multiply E470*O470 along with the current functions. Is this possible? I keep striking out and wasting my time.

I've attached a link to my screenshot and I've inserted my formula below:
=IF(AND(A470="X",E470<>"",O470<>""),O470*M470,"")

BTW...the target cell is P470

just curious, if I wanted to add more names to the formula such as "plug" how would I extend the formula to capture that?

Do you mean other possible values in G470 besides "Plug" ?

And if it's, say, "Jam", then what should be done ?

I want anything I put in there to equal E470,M470)*O470 (same as you had)

=IF(AND(A470="X",E470<>"",O470<>""),IF(G470="Plug" or "jam" or "whatever"",E470,M470)*O470,"")

BTW...G470 is a drop down menu, I want it to perform it's normal function =IF(AND(A474="X",E474<>"",O474<>""),O474*M474,"")

but I need it to incorporate the exclusions....sorry, I think I failed to give you the original string...
I need the original function plus I need to add the if "plug" do this..

Is that as clear as mud? sorry

You can add as many conditions as you need within the curly brackets:
