Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
assuming there is always data in Col "A"

Code:
Sub MM1()
Rows(ActiveCell.Row + 1 & ":" & Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Row).Delete
End Sub

Michael M problem is towards the bottom of the sheet there is no data in any of the cells
so it still leaves colors and lines below the last line that contains data. In order for your formula to work,
before activating the macro I must scroll to bottom of sheet and enter data. It works if I do
this, and if there is no other solution, I will do it. thanks for your help. Ironsides
