I am looking for a code that creates uses a search box and once item is found in that row it navigates to it. Is that possible?

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Can you just use the search function already built into excel?

Ctrl+F

A search box will appear, type in what you are looking for and excel will automatically bring you to there.

I want to search a specific row, this row contains item numbers which are all over my workbook and spreadsheet. I want to search one row so this function would not work.

If you manualy select the whole row, Ctrl-F will search only that row.

If you want a macro try
Code:
Sub test()
    ThisWorkbook.Sheets("Sheet1").Range("5:5").Select
    Application.Dialogs(xlDialogFormulaFind).Show
End Sub

All you have to do is select that row, and use Ctrl + F and it will only search in your highlighted area.

For example, if you want to find a value in row 45, simply select row 45, hit Ctrl + F and insert what you are looking for.
