Hi,

I have data source from A1 to D200
My pivot table is positioned on G5.

When I use filters on data source, my pivot also changes.
Is there some way to have pivot show data from the unfiltered data even when I use filters?

Thank you

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Hi,

My last post had a mistake. When I keep pivot and data source on same sheet I need that Pivot doesnt change when I use filter on data source.
So in this case I need that when I use filter, that pivot allways stay the same (something like "stay on top") so it doesn get affected by hidden rows,

To further explain:

When I filter my source data, for example row 6 and 7 become hidden. But also if the pivot table is in same row, thos pivot rows become hidden.
Is there some way arround this?

Thanks
