Hello im wondering if anyone can help me out with the formula below?
Im trying to count the number of times a number is recorded in column A that has duplicate numbers this part is working, however I also need to count if column H is showing a blank field

=COUNT(IF(FREQUENCY('3a6'!A2:A1000,'3a6'!A2:A1000),'3a6'!A2:A1000)*('3a6'!H2:H1000=""))

My formula does not seen to be working and any help would be appreciated
Thank you

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
=SUM(IF(FREQUENCY('3a6'!A2:A1000,'3a6'!A2:A1000),1))

returns the number of unique numbers from '3a6'!A2:A1000.

=SUM(IF(FREQUENCY('3a6'!A2:A1000,'3a6'!A2:A1000)>1,1))

returns the number of unique numbers with duplicate occurrences from '3a6'!A2:A1000 (e.g., if 0.2 occurs once in '3a6'!A2:A1000, it's not counted.

=SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(IF('3a6'!H2:H1000="",'3a6'!A2:A1000),'3a6'!A2:A1000),1))

delivers the count of unique numbers which correspond to a blank in the H range.

=SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(IF('3a6'!H2:H1000="",'3a6'!A2:A1000),'3a6'!A2:A1000)>1,1))

delivers the count of unique numbers with occurrence > 1 and which correspond to a blank in the H range.
