Hi all,

It's my first post and I hope I can learn and add value to this platform.

I'm stuck at this issue and im not sure if there is a way to do it more efficiently. As mentioned in the title, I am trying to sum multiple columns and multiply the results with a third column. in another word, I would like to use SUMPRODUCT but for the first array, it should be a summation of multiple columns. For example, in the below table, imagine that I would like to write a formula to SUMPRODUCT of summing column B,C, and E, then multiply them with Column D (ignore the content of the table, it's just a sample).

Please let me know if the question is still unclear. thanks in advance fro your help.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
FawazB,

Welcome to the MrExcel forum.

In cell F2, enter the following formula =(B2+C2+E2)*D2

F2 would display 4525

Copy the formula in cell F2, down, to the last used row.
