Q&A Works on Dashboards, Not Reports

To be able to use the Q&A feature, you have to promote your report to dashboard. From the report, select Pin Live View. Specify that you want to create a new dashboard.

Pin to Dashboard offers either an Existing Dashboard or a New Dashboard. — Figure 1128. Create a dashboard from your report.

After saving as a dashboard, open the Dashboard from the left navigation panel. Click in the Q&A box to type questions about your data.

Open a dashboard in Power BI, and the title is Ask a Question About Your Data. Type any question there. — Figure 1129. Enable Q&A.
