Excel 2024: Date Tricks in Excel

Column C in the figure below shows several cool date formulas. Given a date in B1, you can use EOMONTH to get to the end or start of the month. You can break out the YEAR, MONTH, DAY and then put it back together using the DATE function.

You can use the TEXT function to isolate the weekday name or month name. The WORKDAY and NETWORKDAYS in row 9 and 13 are similar to Calculate Nonstandard Work Weeks.
