Yet another Combine Files question

I apologize if this has been answered, however I've spend a few hours trying to get something to work. I am using Excel 2010 and am trying to combine multiple files in separate subfolders into one workbook with each file name as a separate tab in a new workbook named the same as the subfolder. Eg: subfolders "CAN","LAN", and "SYR". Within each of these subfolders there are workbooks titled "Written", "Closed", and "New". I am looking to have a script or macro run through each of the subfolders and create a new workbook called "CAN" with the corresponding tabs of "Written", "Closed", and "New" that are found within the folder "CAN". Can anyone help here? I'm trying to learn VB and/or functions but can't seem to get snippets of code I've found on the internet to work together. Thanks VERY much for anyone that can help :)
