How can I get the months to change with the year example:

2010

January-10 February-10 March-10 (these 3 cells would have a formula right?)

My objective is to change the year and have the months with year all change accordingly. I am sure this is rather easy but I am stumped

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
That would work if I didnt have the first cell conected to the title page -year
The first cell in the row of months must show the year and month just from changing the title page year
example:
(title page)
2011

(next tab)

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 148pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=197><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 52pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 2523" width=69><COL style="WIDTH: 48pt" span=2 width=64><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 25.5pt" height=34><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 52pt; HEIGHT: 25.5pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl71 height=34 width=69>Jan-11</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl71 width=64>Feb-11</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl71 width=64>Mar-11 </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
These three cells would change (year only) if I change the year on the title page. Is this possible?

yes sir. First page or first tab (sheet).
First sheet has the year
Second sheet has the months and year in a row

So, your WORKSHEET NAME for Sheet 1 would be 2010 ? and the 2nd sheet name doesn't really matter, but you need 3 cells populated with the month and year based upon the name of Sheet 1 ?

Correct ? If so.. exactly what three cells do you need these placed into ?

Title Page, Tab Names, etc... will cause confusion.. Tabs are user forms, title pages are documents.. lol.. sorry.. my feeble brain MUST HAVE CONSISTENCY

I think I am not very good at explaining, sorry. I have the year in a cell on the first sheet and I want a row of months (in order) with the year in a second sheet example:
Sheet 1
<TABLE style="WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=64><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 48pt" width=64><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 15.75pt" height=21><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #f0f0f0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; HEIGHT: 15.75pt; BORDER-TOP: black 1pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid" class=xl72 height=21 width=64>2010 </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

sheet 2
<TABLE style="WIDTH: 580pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=773><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 52pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 2523" width=69><COL style="WIDTH: 48pt" span=11 width=64><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 25.5pt" height=34><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 52pt; HEIGHT: 25.5pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 height=34 width=69>Jan-10</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 width=64>Feb-10</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 width=64>Mar-10</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 width=64>Apr-10</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 width=64>May-10</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 width=64>Jun-10</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 width=64>Jul-10</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 width=64>Aug-10</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 width=64>Sep-10</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 width=64>Oct-10</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 width=64>Nov-10</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0" class=xl73 width=64>Dec-10</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Code:
Private Sub worksheet_select()
    sdate = Format(DateValue("01/01/" & Sheets(1).Name), "MMM-YY")
    Cells(1, 1) = sdate
    For x = 2 To 12
        Cells(1, x) = Cells(1, x - 1) + 31
    Next x
End Sub
