Hi all,

I'm using the YEARFRAC function to calculate the fraction of the year worked. Based on 13/5/2019 - 31/07/2019 the function returns
<colgroup><col width="93" style="width: 70pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3401;"> <tbody>
0.2166666667.

</tbody>
However based on calendar days 80/35= I get 0.219780219.

Think my formula only including days inbetween the 2 dates? And also I have read that the function bases the YEAR around 360 days an not 365.

Is there a better way to calculate please?

Give the calc is linked to bonus I need this to be right.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
You could use:

=(B1-A1+1)/365

or

=YEARFRAC(A1,B1+1,3)

if you want both the date to be inclusive.
