Hi guys,

I have a dataset with a lot of financial records, both actuals up to today and budgets which can be in the future. I want to use a filter in a Pivot table which only shows data until a given date, for example March 31st for Q1 - 2021. This Q1 is entered in a cell as a parameter, next quarter I'm updating the cell to Q2, reload the data etc etc. How can I get Q1 in the datamodel to filter the dataset?

Thx!

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Maybe by using a timeline slicers?
