Since, in theory, any XL sheet can be displayed as XML, does this mean if I'm using XL2003+ I can post my sheets as XML without any special add-ins required, and viewers would be able to treat what they saw through IE just like a XL loaded sheet?

That would be cool. I still have XL2000 so it doesn't really matter, I'm just curious.

Thanks,

I have no idea. Although from what I recall, it seems that when people try to use HTML other than simple tags or the HTML maker on the board, it doesn't work.

Either way, if anyone decides to test this, please do it in the Test forum :)

Thanks for the replies, Juan and VP,

I was thinking pasting the XML in your post might work, that was my question, too bad you can't, that would be cool (not to detract from the HTML maker, that thing is an awesome tool).

If I were just to paste XML on a regular .html page, not in a forum, that would work, right?

Either way, you satisfied my curiosity, thanks,
Cort

I don't know... I pasted the xml source directly, and came up as just text... so, don't know what would happen on another page.
