Xlookup return value

As you can see from the screenshot above, the xlookup result is in cell B9, Where criteria is written in B10, the return array is B2:B4, Criteria array is A2:A4, I want xlookup to return "2" , now if i use first to last search, it returns "1" , if i use last to first search, it returns "3" is there any way i can get the "2" result? Plz help. Thanks.
 
What version of Excel are you using?

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

Also do you always want to return the 2nd result?
