Remote* Cell values in a named range "MyNamedRange"** have following structure:

"U. HeaderName - KeyWord"***

Filters and HeaderName row is in row 10

Objective - Upon Right Click on a cell in above named range:
- Filter in Column U using the "KeyWord"

* Remote - as in it is not part of the column which needs filtering
** Named range "MyNamedRange" is in top frozen rows B1:i9
*** All values in the remote cell come from a formula, in above example: "Column U. U10 - intersection of Active Cell Row and Column U"

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
If I understand correctly:
  1. User right-clicks on cell in (frozen toprows) range MyNamedRange
  2. The VBA should then filter the table using column U
  • What I don't understand is the format of the text in the MyNamedRange and the text in column U. Some examples please.
  • You also mention HeaderName. Header of which column?
  • What is the address (columns, + first row) of table to be filtered.
