The trust centre has changed. Fine. But I have a ton of macros on my PERSONAL.XLSB and macros in personal files. I've eventually managed to enable PERSONAL.XLSB macros (which are run from the QAT) but there's a file which updates personal income which has a macro, and it just flags up

A potentially dangerous macro has been blocked

every time. I've turned every Trust setting I can off (home goal Microsoft, you have to turn all settings off) and gone onto the file right click properties and there's no Unblock option.

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
If you right click on the file and go to properties, they added a checkbox for you to trust the document. This needs to be checked - then the macros will work. I think it may be at the bottom of the 'General' tab on the document properties.

It seems to happen when a file has come from a different network than your current, i.e. sending spreadsheets from work to home via email.

Are you running 365?

I presume in CMD but it doesn't work. I managed to add the folder for the macro to trusted sites and it worked.
They fixed the bypass, xlsb files were exempt from the macro settings but now (sadly) they fixed it.
