Hello! I am trying to figure out how to write an IF statement such as this

IF (value in column A is ODD, then do this)
IF (value in column A is EVEN, then do this)

All in the same string.

Suggestions?

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Hi there try:

=IF(EVEN(A1)=A1,"EVEN - do something","ODD - do something else")

Have a look at the MOD function.

=IF(MOD(A1,2)=0,what to do if even, what to do if odd)

Try:

=IF(MOD(A1,2)=0,*What to do if it is even*,*What to do if it is odd*)
