I don't think the reason nobody responded was because of the 'toughness' of your questions.

I think it's because they weren't explained clearly enough.

In your first post my immediate thought was why are you using a subreport in the first place.

Could you not create one query that has all the information you want and group it as desired?

And also, I think, the way columns are used in reports is more an issue to do with page setup than anything else.

In your second post you might have answered yourself - why not just use the Between operator in the criteria for your DLookup?
