Hi Everyone,

I don't know if this is possible but it would help me a lot.

I often get two files that have started out as the same document but get edited so some data is different.
(I know this sounds crazy but it happens and I can not stop it so I have to deal with it.)

Both files are set up the same have the same tabs etc.

I was wouldering if there would be a way to run a macro from a separate document that could look for differences in each document?

So how i'm thinking is The document with the macro is called "Differences"

The other two for simplicity are Doc1 and Doc2
so we use Doc1 as the master and compare doc2

So in the Differences doc on sheet1

Column A would be Sheet Name,
B, Column
C, Row,
D, Data In Doc1,
E Data in Doc2

and then just list any differences it finds in the documents,

if it easier I only want to check 4 sheets
"Data1"
"Capacity"
"Sales"
"Invoices"

if theres anyway this can be done please help

Thanks

Tony
