Worksheet Zoom and Display features changing

I am working on a large workbook with many worksheets and a lot going on (macros, custom views, hyperlinks) .. .

I put the worksheet at 100% and B1 is hilighted. When I go to another worksheet and come back, it reverts back to 75%.

Also, columns are hilightd, so I click in B1, and when I return, that column is hilighted.

I put in macros for each worksheet (which are linked to a button to hide columns ... using a Custom View), and hyperlinks to each column that is shown. To get around the zoom problem, I inserted a command line in the macro to zoom to 100%. HOwever, whenever that worksheet is left and I return to it, it reverts back to another percentage.

It is driving me crazy!

I originally thought that the custom views might be saving the other worksheets views, but read on Microsoft website that it only applies to the current worksheet.

I'm guessing there's a change event in the worksheet or workbook itself that is overriding your command line.

Thank you. It does seem like the macros are changing the other worksheets ...

I found a workaround, I get a tab the way I want it (100%, cursor in B1, Freeze First Column) and then save that one tab to a worksheet by itself. Then when I import it, re-assign the macros to the tabs (as they are now referring to the other workbook), the formatting, when I press the other buttons, the formatting on the newly inserted tab doesn't change...

At least this got me to sign up for your wonderful forum! I'll let you know when I finish the project if that fixed it ...

Thanks
