Can someone please tell me the correct syntax when using the "If Isdate" command when referencing a range in another worksheet that is not active?

I've tried a variety of guesses and none work, such as "If Worksheets("Inactivesheetname").Cells(3,1). isdate then". Yes, it makes no sense, but I'm desperate.

Try this.
Code:

That worked! Thanks very much!

BTW, I've seen that requirement to do that special marking of code before but I don't know how to do it. Might you please tell me?
