hi,

I have several different workbooks and worksheets within. I have some code that works fine on one workbook/sheet, but not on the others.

this is because the worksheet name differs on the others...is there a default name i can put into the code that would work on all the worksheets?

many thanks for your help

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Are you looping through the worksheets? No, there is no default name that means "do this to any worksheet"

You could use ActiveSheet.Range("A1").(whatever you're doing to them) but then each sheet would have to be active, in turn, to make the code run on that particular sheet.

If you're looping, you can try something like:

Code:
For Each Worksheet in Worksheets
    'Do whatever
Next Worksheet

or some such variance with defined variables or whatever.
