Worksheet locking

Hi Team,
I have an excel sheet that is having some checkboxes and textboxes. I want to restrict it for user so that they can not edit that. They should only check/uncheck the checkboxes but they shold not able to right click and change the properties. I tried doing protected sheet from review menu and it is somehow working. But when I am checking on checkbox, I am getting the below error, could you please advise me how to proceed with that.
