Is there a way to lock a cell or group of cells in a worksheet so the cursor does not land on it? I want the cursor to only jump into unlock cells at each entry. Is there a way to do that?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
When setting the worksheet protection, uncheck the checkbox next to "Select Locked Cells".

Thank you. Do you know why when I'm designing the worksheet and placing objects such as textboxes, etc., that when I print the worksheet, the objects are out of alignment? It looks perfectly fine in Windows, but as soon as I print, the objects are mis-aligned.

Dave, I rarely print worksheets that have Object Controls, so I'm not sure I'll be able to help you with that. I'll try or maybe someone else will recognize your symptoms.

1. Are you using ActiveX or Form Controls?

2. When you say they are misaligned, approximately how far off are they from being aligned?

I'm using ActiveX controls. When I have objects next to each other they overlap.

Hard to say what the problem is from that description. I placed two Textboxes so they were perfectly aligned and when I printed them they were still aligned.

If you hold down the Alt key while resizing an object by one of its corner points, it will snap to align with the corner of a cell.
You might try doing that with your objects to see if that helps anchor them in relation to the sheet.
