I am wondering if it is possible to have a worksheet change event trigger a macro in excel.

What I have is an invoice tab that feeds several different revenue tabs, depending on what type of revenue. What I am wanting is a worksheet change event that will trigger a macro when something in the invoice tab is modified manually (keyed in, pasted in, etc.).

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
A macro is a procedure, and so is the worksheet change event. Put your code in the worksheet event procedure.

Understood. Now that I take a look at it, I don't think this will actually work for me without some more serious coding.

Instead, do you know of a way to have the excel find function work within a macro. I can have a different set of shortcut keys assigned to each seperate revenue tab. When ran, I am wanting it to lookup a value in the newly added item to the invoice tab, and insert a row below the last occurance of that value in the revenue spreadsheet.

For a better explanation, if ran it will pick up the customer name in the invoice tab, and look up the corresponding value in the revenue tab (assigned a unique shortcut key), then insert a blank row below the last occurance. Is this possible?
