Hello,

I have multiple questions about a tool we have been using for several years. It is an excel workbook to track and forecast man hours for an engineering/design company. We do multiple small jobs and are tracking around 50 at one time.

Each job has it's own workbook with weeks along the top(columns) and disciplines along the side(rows). Actual(Past) and forecasted(Future) hours are filled in per disciplines per week.

I have an overall spreadsheet that adds up all the data from the individual jobs spreadsheets and makes some fancy graphs. This is done with queries. So this overall workbook has 60+ tabs with 50+ of those queries.

My problem is that the sheet has corrupted a few times. Even after I rebuilt the sheet. Meaning I re added all the queries because file locations changed and needed to be updated.

Is the size causing it to corrupt? Is this many tabs a problem? Is there a better way to accumulate data from this many workbooks?

I'm sure some additional info is needed. Please let me know and I will provide it.

I can't upload the spreadsheet we use but I can make a quick one the gives the general idea of whats going on.

Thanks!

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
