I am not good at math! I am a little better at formulas but really stumped on this one.
Example #1: Brian Johnson donated $250 in 2014. He donated $100 in 2015. What formula do I need to use to come up with the difference? The boss wants these in percentages.
Example #2: Mary Jones donated $100 in 2014. She donated $120 in 2015. Now, I am smart enough to know this is 20% more but what is the formula to have excel do this for me?
I am more confused than I am terrible at math problems. Looking to you Mr. Excel.
Thank you in advance.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
thank you. this project is for a non-profit and I'm collecting data on donations... for those like donor #1 who gave more in 2014 than what they gave in 2015, shouldn't the percentage come out as a negative? or do I need to swap the order of the cells? For reference, 2015 is in column D and 2014 is in column F. THANKS!
