Hello,
I pasted some of my code into a workbook that I am working on and it generated alot of weird "Automation Errors" that I am not familiar with. This code used Auto_open() and when I get the Automation error the debugger highlighted another piece of code that that I coppied from the internet.
This the code that I coppied from the internet. I dont understand it but t allows me to check if a file exists within a spread sheet formula.
Function FileExists(sPath As String)
FileExists = Dir(sPath) <> ""
End Function
I did some expermenting with Auto_open() and workbook open and commenting out the unknown code.
It looks like using auto_open() when the unknown code is in the same module causes an automation error.
The automation error generated objects in the tree that look like copies of the worksheet modules with a funny blue icon.
I can not get workbook_open() to trigger when the workbook opens.
Any thoughts??
