I have several workbooks that link to one "Total" workbook. What I would like them to do is once the data is inputed, saved and the workbook is closed. It would be collected in the to "Total" workbook that is closed. Once opened it would collect all the data. When I run this file with the Totals workbook closed the data is not collected until I open all of the other workbooks that are in the file.
If I run this file with the "Totals" workbook open it will collect all the information. It may not be opened at all times.
How can I get this work do what I would like? I am using Excel 2007.
Heads up I am a novice. Just learned the basics last year and I am finding many uses for Excel and love learning all of it's functions.
