Workbook failing to complete when called from Windows tasks.

I have a complex WB with a lot of Subs and Functions. It runs perfectly well time after time when run manually whether called manually or using Workbook_Open. However, when called from Windows tasks, it hangs. When it does this, Task Manager does not list Excel but trying to open the WB results in a message that it is in use. How do I go about solving this?
