workbook automatically opening itself

I run a macro to open a file, copy and paste info, then close the file.

sometimes I noticed it mysteriously opens itself open again....hows this possible>?

Set src = Workbooks.Open("\\A\file.xlsm")

later....

src.close false

perhaps its the workbook that i'm opening? unfortuantely i cant look at the code as it's pw-protected

Hmmm .... you will need to get the author to unlock the code before you can do anything.
