I have a Word template report (about 80 pages) that is a basic boilerplate, with many charts and graphs that are pulled from a Excel report that acts as the sister to the Word report. All of the work that I do is in the Excel file, and pasted into Word at many different points as update-able links (via the paste-special function). Whenever I transfer the file, or create a new file with the Word and Excel sheets paired up, I have to manually update every link that is in the Word file, scrolling and clicking through sub folders. There are over 300 links, and the process takes a long time to complete. The only thing that I need changed is the Excel file name and location from which the Word file is calling the linked information from. The cells and values that the Word grabs from Excel are always in the same place in the Excel document, only the file name changes. Is there a way to create a macro that will update all the links in Word with the file name that I specify without doing this manually through all 300+ links?
