Using word 2007. I have a document where I have both endnotes and an index.
There are 2 options for position of endnotes - end of section and end of document . I want end of document (end f section doesn't work very well because a "chapter" on a given topic may have multiple sections if I need to make a summary page landscape orientation)
Problem is "end of document" puts the endnotes after the index which looks strange.
I have tried to get around this by doing the endnotes first , then positioning the cursor after the endnotes before creating the index .But when I do that "insert index" is greyed out .
If I put the cursor back before the endnotes insert index is available again
Is there a way around this
