Hi,

I am writing a long academic paper on word doc. The footnote section rises and rises, such that it now starts in the middle of the page, but is blank mostly with the small footnote at the bottom.

I have tried all sorts of formatting (paragraph) to try to fix it but nothing works!

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Liu Yi,

If you could upload a (sanitized) copy of you document to one of the free file hosting websites and post a link here, I could take a look at it for you.
