Word - FINAL MARK UP

Hi

I have been having problems with final mark up in Word. When I change from final mark up to final and save doc all is fine when I reopen the doc again with only the doc showing (not changes). However, when I embed document within another doc and open it up i opens up as final mark up version. Could somebody possibly advise how I can overcome this?

Hi VBARustyBeginner,

Did you embed the document before, or after, saving the final? If before, did you embed it, or insert a link to it? If the latter, have you checked the 'update automatic links at open' option? If the former, embedded objects don't update - that's the difference between linking and embedding.
