Word document won't print

My boss asked me a question about why her document won't print from the upstairs printer. She later asked me to type out the doc again. Instead, I copied and pasted the original document into a new document and saved it into a different drive using a different name but it still won't print from the upstairs printer. I've tried opening different files and print, so therefore it's not the printer problem.

Any suggestions? I would assume that when I copy and paste the orig doc into a new page, i will have a new doc.
