Hi, 2 things I need help with in MS Word 2002:

1) When I type the date, say 4 September 2006, how can I stop Word putting in the American date "2006-09-04" automatically at the end? It doesn't appear as an option I can delete from within Auto Correct options.

and

2) How can I turn off American spelling? No matter how many times I click "New Zealand English" or "UK English" in the language settings, it always bounces back to American spelling and either changes or highlights words it thinks are wrong, such as labour, organise, colour, etc.

Thanks in advance for advice.
