Windows Installer starts everytime Excel is opened

This may be simple but I'd prefer to not have to sit on hold with our Corp. HelpDesk for 2 hours.
I tried running Detect and Repair after having some trouble with MS Apps and some Fax software. Since we're on a network and I didn't have the MS Office XP Professional disks for the PROPLUS.MSI file it wanted for Excel and we don't have the files on our network, I cancelled out of the installation. Now, everytime I run Excel, Windows Installer starts and tries to run Microsoft Office XP Professional with Front Page. I can cancel out of it (with two or three cancel clicks), but it's annoying. Is there an easy way to get rid of this? :-?
Thanks!

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
That happens to me if I try to start Excel in Safe Mode. I think you'll have to re-install it. Unless, maybe you can download the missing file off of the Internet and place it in the proper spot.
