Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Hmm, let's see, this is an Excel help forum... ;)

Hi Rorya,

Good point lol ;). Is there a way to merge cells? or conditional formatting in excel 5.0c?

and is Windows 95 Excel 5.0c and Windows Xp Excel 2003 compatible?

Thanks!

CF was introduced on XL97 so no. Merged cells I can't recall but should be easy enough to locate. (not that I recommend them)
Excel 2003 should be able to work with the 5/95 format (I don't think it was one of the ones blocked by SP3 but I'd have to check to be sure) though going the other way you would have to save to the older format and avoid any features that weren't present back then. You'll also get no support from MS for it of course, as it's too old!

Hi,

Excel 5.0 works on Windows XP OS.
But there is neither CF nor merged cells in Excel 5.0
Pivot Tables are absent too.

Excel 2003 SP3 supports Excel 5/95 format - can load and save it.
Workbooks in Excel 2003 format can't be loaded into Excel 5.0

Hope that the licence on such rarity will never die :)

Vladimir
