Will the HTML maker only work on Excel 2000?

I have wanted to post examples many times, but can't figure out how to use the HTML Maker. I downloaded it and it up the menu on my screen, but I have Excel 97. Is that the problem?
 
Which version of the html maker did you use?

I had to use an earlier version, and the lite to get the converter going.
