I have a database that i am currently designing which has a primary key

I have started to copy all my data (CSV format) into the relevent tables. I am doing it in batches but have just relised that one of my batches was incomplete. if i try importing the complete batch will all the rows (where the primary key) is a duplicate be thrown out and hence save me lots of time trying to work out what was imported in the first/failed attempt?

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Hi PaulJR,

You can not have two records with the same primary key if that is what you're asking...so yes, that would seem to solve your problem. Access will tell you "X records can not be imported because of key violations" or something to that effect.

You could also use the query wizard to make a unique values query (no duplicates) or DIRECT in your SQL expression.
