I have sheet I am working with, it has sum totals in a row across the top (j3:aq3). I want to transpose that to update in the journal entry in another part of the same sheet. This data is in a column vs a row. I tried to type =j3 then =k3 in the next row (which works obviously), but when I select the two cells and drag it down the column, it doesn't do =k3 =L3, etc. It just repeats =j3 and =k3.

I am sorry this is likely so simple. I have tried transposing, and a bunch of stuff, but for some reason i can't get it to work. I just keep typing it out manually.

I did try and search here and google, but couldn't find anything that works, so here i am back with the experts.

Thank you for your help.

Michael.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
How about
Excel Formula:
=TOCOL(J3:AQ3)
