why when use bold or color font just shows the bracet between the words?

hi community in this great forum !

I have question . when I would explain my problem about the code by bold the line or highlight by color when issue my post . it just put two brackets between the line. it doesn't make the line bold or highlighted . why happens this for me?

You rarely need to use that, just use the relevant icon in the reply window.
