A professional programmer told me that it is better to sort from the bottom up, and not from the top to the bottom, why ?

I can't sleep now, he wouldn't say why, so I need to know.

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.

Have you not asked them why?

And what do you/they mean by sort?

well, I did ask him, but he disapeared and not sure if he moved or what..

This had to do with sorting Excel sheet with names and a combination of dates, and he said when he was helping me write the VB script that it was better to sort from the bottom up and not the otherway around.

I always wondered why since then.

Well I've never heard anything like that.

There are various different sort algorithims that act differently.

Are you sorting the sheet tabs?

Are you sure you are not confusing it with another concept, which is when try to locate the last row of data in column/range in VBA, it is better to start from the bottom of the sheet and work up rather than start at the top and work down?

Or when deleting rows, start from the bottom?:)
