Why is my Macro slower when I have an add-in installed, even though they dont interact

Hi,

So I have this macro which normally runs in about 10 seconds but with my self-made add-in installed it takes about 4 times longer even though the two have nothing to do with eachother. Also I turned off events, screenupdating etc.

Is this a known thing and what can I do to solve this issue?

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
